The Grecotel hotel chain entrusted the creation of its website to Information Systems Impact, aiming at the worldwide online display and availability of its hotels. As a website creation, online tourism services and dynamic content management platform on the Internet, Information Systems Impact used the “i @ tourism” solution.
With i@tourism, not only did it create a website for the hotel chain, but it managed to promote a number of hotel sites online, providing each hotel with individual benefits available to its guests, highlighting their unique selling points, while bringing them together under the umbrella of the strong identity of the Grecotel hotel chain.
In the first phase, for the online availability of rooms, the “i@tourism” platform required of the interconnection with Grecotel’s internal reservation system, Protel, and then, further to Grecotel’s business decision, the interconnection with the Synxis reservation system. Thanks to i@tourism, the Grecotel website is a powerful hotel promotion and selling tool.
