The General Assembly of the European E-invoicing Service Providers Association – EESPA successfully took place in Athens for the first time, with more than 80 senior executives from all over Europe.

IMPACT, a certified provider of electronic invoicing and a member of EESPA since 2014, supported the event’s organization and sponsored the official dinner of executives.

The General Assembly meeting was honoured by senior executives of AADE.

Mr Georgios Pitsilis, Governor, Independent Authority for Public Revenue, Hellenic Republic, presented the most significant Greek data project of myDATA. With almost one million registered companies having already submitted 900 million documents (invoices, receipts), myDATA is undoubtedly the most prominent digital transformation project in our country.

Combined with the fact that the public sector has begun to receive electronic invoices, unquestionably, the universal adoption of electronic invoicing is just around the corner.

Mr William Drakos, Managing Director IMPACT and member of the Board of EESPA, quoted: “Such initiatives bring Greece to the forefront of Europe while respectively transferring the know-how and best practices of other countries to the Greek reality.”
