@tourism: Microsoft dotNet technologies

i@tourism solution is based on Microsoft dotNET and has been implemented using C# programming language. Its architecture and the advanced development techniques used ensure that can be fully adapted into any production environment.

The business logic of the application, utilizes the advantages of Web Services and Microsoft dotNET technologies achieving asynchronous processing of data.

The manipulation of data is based on using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and advanced techniques such as SQL Integration Services, Stored Procedures and UDFs, Data Replication etc. The fully optimized database, incorporates pieces of business logic for maximum output and processing of business rules.

i@tourism includes Workflow and BPM (Business Process Management) capabilities in order to be able to integrate easily internal and external processes between different systems (ERPs, CRMs, Accounting applications, etc.) regardless of available platforms (Windows, Unix or other).

Integration can also be achieved with GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Galileo (using XML Select), Pegasus (Ultra Direct) and other tourism portals (such as Expedia, etc.).
