edi@connect - electronic document interchange - service is basically an extra module of the i@connect service, which enables the communication and the exchange of information between business partners which are using EDI document types and infrastructures (like VAN). The @connect platform can process all EDI - electronic document interchange - messages received/sent from various ways of communication/interconnection (AS2, EDI VAN X400, SFTP, SSH) and different types of messages or standards  (EDIFACT, XML) in order to be transformed into a format compatible for the recipient/sender backend ERP system.

Information Systems Impact proposes the following package of services regarding EDI interconnection:

• Consulting services and implementation of the EDI message
• Flexibility to adapt to any communication protocols or other than Internet networks (AS2, X400 VAN EDI mailbox, i@connect agent)
• Configuration and testing of the EDI messages according to the company specific business needs
• Advanced notification and report services (notification emails) for each exchange of EDI messages.
