Grecotel: web site development

Grecotel hotel chain, entrusted Information Systems Impact to develop the web site for the global promotion and offering of their hotels located in Greece. The platform used for the web site development allowing the electronic offering of travel services and management of dynamic content, was the “i@tourism” solution implemented by Information Systems Impact. Using “i@tourism”, a web site was developed for the hotel chain, and a series of hotel web sites was launched, contributing to the promotion of the individual advantages of every hotel of the chain, urge their unique selling points, while unite all the individual hotels under the umbrella of the strong brand name of Grecotel hotel chain.

On line availability of rooms achieved during the first phase of the project with the interconnection of “i@tourism” platform and “Protel”, which is the internal reservation system of Grecotel. At a later stage, integration with reservation system “Synxis” was achieved fulfilling Grecotel’s business decision. Grecotel’s web site powered by i@tourism, constitutes of a dynamic tool used for the promotion and sales of the hotel’s services.
