MISR Bank: Electronic Payment System
Information Systems Impact in cooperation with Q&R Greece and Gulf Data International Corp. developed an Electronic Payment System for MISR Bank of Egypt. The project is for the vertical pharmaceutical market and integrates the supply chain among pharmacies and their suppliers by implementing electronic payments through the generation of aggregated debit notes, which are sent electronically to the bank for further processing.
The Electronic Payment System can integrate with the internal systems of Suppliers as well as with the Bank’s management system; service participants (suppliers, pharmacies) require valid subscriptions. The system is web-based with special services and different access settings per user type. Internet Information Server, ASP .NET and Microsoft BizTalk Server technologies were used.
