ERP cosmoONE: Procurement Management System
cosmoONE Hellas Marketsite, a leading B2B services provider, wanted a solution to streamline the exchange of business information (ordering cycle) with Cosmote, the largest mobile operator in Greece.
Information Systems Impact developed a solution based on Microsoft BizTalk 2004 in order to implement the exchange of the ordering information between cosmoONE’s CommerceOne e-Marketplace and Cosmote’s Oracle-based ERP (Oracle Business Suite).
The data received by Cosmote are based on the OAG XML format and arrive to cosmoONE through BizTalk’s HTTP Receiver (by the Oracle Transport Agent – OTA). The destination format (cosmoONE) is xCBL.
Business logic has been implemented partly through custom-developed .NET components (a pre-parser that converts the incoming OAG XML message to a readable XML format for Microsoft BizTalk) and partly using BizTalk’s orchestration engine. The Business Rules Engine is also used in order to define combinations of data (scenarios) based on which the appropriate workflow steps are performed.
All communication is secured through firewalls and is encrypted by using SSL.
